Ian Chung

Ian is a sophomore at Dwight-Englewood and a jazz pianist at Mannes Pre-college. He leads his school's varsity policy debate team and Jazz-Rock Club. Excelling in critical writing and persuasive communication, he is deeply interested in exploring social issues. By performing for seniors with dementia, he has come to believe music transcends time, connecting people through shared emotions. Beyond his artistic and academic pursuits, he is an avid traveler and a passionate fan of baseball and soccer.
